About Metal Slinger

Rachel Schneider’s Metal Slinger is a thrilling, swashbuckling tale full of twists, turns, and surprises that will have you reading late into the night.

Brynn and her friends Kai, Messer and Aurora are voyaging from their watery home in Alaha to the Kenta Market as their right of passage for graduating from guard school. This will be their first, and potentially only, time to step foot on land, so they plan on soaking up every moment. instead, Brynn unintentionally causes an incident that could destroy the tenuous treaty between Kenta and Alaha.

After their hasty return home, an enigmatic soldier arrives from Kenta and says he will only speak with Brynn. She is willing to do anything to save her people. Could that involve an unforgivable betrayal of her friends, her people and potentially her heart?
